I HAVE BEEN ROBBED.

Seriously, not even joking, I have been thefted of over $500, fallen prey to ATM fraud like we are always warned about by CTV news.

I found out on Monday, after two separate embarassing ATM incidents (one in front of Troy and one in front of Nick) where the ATM told me that it was not authorized to give me money. This, I can expect around March or April when my funding gets painfully thin and I revert to my diet of pb'n'j bagels for every meal, but not in August when I am still working and getting paid.

I called the bank and was informed that my account had been frozen after a number of suspect withdrawls made early in the morning from a number of ATMs in North York and Scarborough. Apparently, they do a full investigation and if they find out that it truly was not me, then I get my cash back. Keep your fingers crossed for me, as that is practically a months rent, and I could really use it back.

Also note that I have resolved to only use my debit card at bank machines now, and will be paying for everything with cash. Bling.
