Another lonely night in my tights

Halloween! This year, we decided to dress up as fitness instructors from the eighties. But, not cute ones. AUTHENTIC ONES.

This costume cost me $12 and was made up of some things I already had (old swimsuit, very layered hair, hi-tops), some things I got at Honest Eds (children's tights, control top-underwear), and a red sweatshirt from Value Village - where I also happened to find an awesome, brand new Geek Boutique sweater in my size for $3!

As you can see, pretty much everyone really committed. After our getting-ready party, we battled the rain, made it to school, and took over the dance floor. Over the course of the night, we performed three fully extended fitness routines. Grapevine-stepping, knees high, and spandexed to the hilt. Too bad the party was cut short by a massive fuse blow-out, resulting in almost everyone being evicted into the rain after an hour of standing in the dark. Its ok, though. My bangs had fallen down by then anyways.
