Last night I went to a potluck dinner - Champion Day. The whole idea was that you were supposed to dress like you did the last time you won something. I can't really remember the last time I won something (except maybe Scrabble) so I wore my Science dress because, as far as I am concerned, I won science. Then I left, which may make me an even bigger winner. People didn't dress up as much as I had hoped, but the food was fantastic and I left happy and full.

I watched Young Frankenstein tonight, which was awesome, and now I am going to watch an episode of Columbo, which I borrowed from Graeme, who is awesome.

Other newsworthy things:

• I rearranged my room - awesome
• I have vowed to slowly add more colour to my wardrobe - bold step forward
• I bought bootie slippers, which look ridiculous but make me insanely happy because they are so warm and comfortable - newsworthy. Really.
