Today I made the same amazing discovery that so many have made before me: you can bake cupcakes in ice cream cones. I did it right away for Mark's birthday. Even the fact that I hate these kinds of ice cream cones didn't dissuade me - I'm a sucker for pointless novelty, apparently. Anyways, I made them out of Rainbow Bit Cake, which is my favorite store-bought cake mix. I got a little too excited and overfilled them, but they still worked out ok.

Slight overflow, but whatever.

I made some of them plain iced...

...and some of them with sprinkles

Then I made a box to take them to the bar in.

I spray-painted it bronze to spruce it up a bit.

Mark was elated.

Stephanie was there, as was Chris who took the photos,

along with Rory, some people that I don't know, and Jena, who huddled with me in the corner.

I wasn't drinking alcohol because I am feeling gross and taking cold medication, which was apparently all the fun I could handle anyways.
