I have come to the conclusion that I am not the kind of person who can pull off "Keds" style skinny little lace-up canvas shoes.
You know how you see those girls and they are wearing little black canvas shoes with their jeans or skirts and it kind of makes you want to hug them or hold their hand or carry their books or something? Or you see some guy walking down the street looking all "my non-descript canvas shoes look so effortless and yet they really pull the outfit together"? That isn't how it goes when I wear Keds.
I'm not basing my conclusion that Keds are not for me on the lack of hug/hand-holding/book-carrying offers I receive while wearing my Keds, or my inability to create an outfit that Keds really pull together, (those were more of like examples of how Keds just really suit some people and bring out the best in them, like sneakers should), but more just the "man is this ever not working" feeling I get every time I put them on.

I can't tell whether I am devastated by this or already bored with it. Either way, it means that the "crazy Puma mid-tops" (shortened from "crazy-ugly Puma mid-tops") need to hold it together for a bit longer, and continue to not go with anything else I own.
