So one of the most amazing things about my apartment is how there is a Baskin Robbins around the corner, right across the street from Christie Pitts. I have big plans to go get ice cream then go watch baseball in the park in the summer. It's going to be great.

Anyways, last Monday I surprise got out of work early, so I called bean to invite her over for dinner. We made breakfast burritos, then decided to get ice cream. Bean always gets mint chocolate chip, and I always get cookies 'n' cream. But then Bean said she was getting two scoops (I can't remember what her second scoop was) so then I had to get two scoops, so I had to pick another flavour.

I picked a brand new flavour and I am so glad I did because it was super super good/a very strange ice cream experience - tea & scones.

OK. Tea-flavoured ice cream is weird because, if you think about it, there aren't really any solid tea-flavoured foods. It's the only drink-flavour I can think of that doesn't come in solid form. There are definitely coffee-, soda-, and juice-flavoured solids, but no tea. And this tea-flavoured ice cream really tastes like tea, and the best thing about Baskin Robbins ice cream is how cold and hard it is when you first get it, so I was having my first solid-tea-flavoured-taste experience and it was really weird. It felt WRONG to be eating tea.

I got over it.

Anyways, the bottom line is that, the next chance you get, you must try this ice cream. Unless you hate tea. It also has "real" scone bits and a berry jam ribbon.
