I wrote two poems today, here they are:
Kate's Poem for Mark
You are the slowest guy I know
Nobody else is half as slow
It takes you forever to get ready to go
But I like you a lot so I put up with it, though
Watching you tie your shoes makes me want to kill myself
Kate's Poem for Miranda
Don’t sit at your desk, frozen in fear
That municipal work has become your career
Much like lunchtime gas, this too will pass
Most likely in less than a year.
