Saved!

Whoever this guy is, he just saved Craigslist missed connections, as far as I am concerned:

OK, so I really wanted to watch Jurassic Park last night, on account of how I am a dude who is pretty into dinosaurs. With no small degree of anticipation, I went to Black Dog Video to rent it (I also would've rented Jurassic Park II, had it been in stock) only to find myself saying aloud: "Holy fucking crap, it's the year two thousand and fucking eight, and someone other than me has come in and rented Jurassic Park in the last seven days."

My first reaction was obviously disappointment, but on the walk home I realized: "Whoah, whomever rented this video is probably also really into dinosaurs right now, and more than likely a TOTAL BABE."

I think about you and I wonder if we're not so different, you and I. Are you at home bemoaning the film's sensationalized representation of the velociraptor, while at the same time feeling grateful that ILM didn't adopt the image of the super-wussy feathered raptor currently en vogue among paleozoological illustrators? Are you watching the tyrannosaurus rex sprint across the screen and shaking your head at current scientific speculation that T-Rex was actually a slow-moving scavenger? Are you also hoping that they'll make a Jurassic Park 4 that will include an awesome underwater bloodbath scene with plesiosaurs eating a guy, and then liopleurodon coming and eating the plesiosaurs? And aren't you tired of being all alone with these heavy thoughts?

It doesn't have to be this way. The way I figure it, we're just a couple of totally sexy, sensitive people who wanna watch dinosaurs fuck some shit up. I thought maybe we can hang out. Nothing too serious, maybe just watch a couple episodes of BBC's Walking With Dinosaurs series until we get to know each other. But I think we should meet.
P.S. Were you also disappointed that Black Dog Video didn't have any Star Trek: The Next Generation compilations on DVD?
