Small Dish

I used the stray ends of a couple of balls of wool to make a small felt dish today. I felted the dish by hand in the sink; it took about 45 minutes. I wish that it was just one colour, but it was just an experiment.




It should take about a day to dry. The can of beans was the only appropriately-sized form I could find.






What! Action shot. This looks insanely "crafty" on my desk at work and I wish had made it in grey or even in just one colour. Even though I made this, when I look at it I expect there to be horrid embroidered flowers on the other side. It is a good phone holder, however.

I am almost certain that I will be able to make something I like out of felt though.

In other news, I finally learned how to use double pointed needles this weekend.
