Even though today was a normal day at work, I can't shake the feeling that I am still on vacation. After work I biked around for a little while, then I met up with Gill for a walk. It is so perfect outside. We walked down to Trinity Bellwoods, where there was a massive drum circle and tonnes of people.


The bandstand was coated in bikes.

I had been feeling a bit disappointed in myself that I couldn't get my act together to set off some fireworks, or at least go and watch someone else do it. Turns out I didn't miss out this year after all.



To top off the night, I finally got to meet the pigeons who have been making sexy pigeon sounds right outside my kitchen and bedroom windows pretty much nonstop for the last month or so. Nobody else I know seems to have heard this sound before. Everyone thinks I mean they are cooing, which is not what I mean at all. I mean they are moaning. They make this bizarre low throaty slightly undulating moaning sound. It drives Gordon insane.
