Morning Break

This morning, I took a break from studying to go talk to Neill in the kitchen, and we got all worked up and decided to move the former- useless- major- explosion- hazard- now- large- unruly- greasy- ex- appliance- taking- up- half- the- sitting- room- stove out of the "sitting room" on our own. We seriously went almost a month with the scary old stove hooked up and the new stove just sitting in the sitting room, waiting for someone to come hook it up. Now we've gone about the same amount of time with the scary old stove sitting castrated in the sitting room (and a safe working stove, which totally rules), waiting for these other guys to come pick it up and take it to gas stove heaven.

I have photos of when we got it temporarily stuck on the landing between the first and second floor. Now it is out on the front porch. I can't show YOU the photos because I can't find my camera-computer cable.

Don't be fooled into thinking that I found the cable - Neill lent me one.

We were so elated to finally have it out of the house, and so proud of ourselves for actually being able to move it (and feeling slightly stupid for not just moving it ourselves ages ago), that we decided that we should probably start a moving company. We were going to call it "Two Skinny White Kids from Etobicoke Moooove Yo Sheiet."

I've come to the conclusion that the ultimate spectator sport would have to be watching me move furniture.
