Tonight, Gill and I met Neill at the AGO to go to the Will Monroe show. The picture to the left is a quilt-like thing made completely of underwear. Seeing this made me want to make a quilt pretty badly. They were serving Maudite at the show, which I thought was pretty rad. Instead of a proper till, the bartenders were using ceramic bowls to keep the cash separated, which was not pretty rad. They broke two bowls while I was in line, which was mildly amusing. Beforehand, Gill and I had takeout sushi, then split a Mars bar which we coupled with vodka, soda, lemon and mashed frozen berries. Gill also made me an espresso, which was delicious.
In other exciting news I finally got my bangs trimmed and can see again.
Tomorrow I am bound for New York, and this Wednesday it is my birthday. I'm very excited, as I am for my birthday party Friday. I really love my birthday a lot.
